On Thursday 16 April, the inaugural Legendairy Start and End Swim Series, hosted by Michael Klim came to life at Sydney’s Andrew ‘Boy’ Charlton Pool. With the sun shining and weather fine, it was the perfect setting for Sydney-siders to join in the fun of the free freestyle swims, dairy tastings, informal Q&A sessions and race tips with Olympic champion and our very own Legendairy ambassador, Michael Klim.
The event series was aimed at reinforcing the benefits of starting and ending the day with dairy foods and the important role milk, cheese and yogurt play in recovery after exercise.
A huge thanks to all our swimmers – those who braved the 6am wake-up call to START their day the right way and the youngsters who made a Legendairy splash in the afternoon at our END event.
A big thanks also to our Legendairy food partners - Devondale Murray Goulburn, Chobani, Sipahh and That! – who helped the swimmers recharge and recover after their exercise with a delicious spread of milk, cheese, yogurt and other tasty treats.
We were overwhelmed with the crowd’s enthusiasm and were happy to see so many smiling faces! See the action for yourself at our Legendairy Start and End Swim Series photo gallery on the Legendairy Facebook page, here.
