Savoury Cheesecake - Microwave

Serves 6


  • 125g plain water cracker biscuits, crushed
  • 1/4 cup grated Australian parmesan cheese
  • 75g Australian butter, melted
  • 3 rashers bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 250g Australian continental-style cottage cheese
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons plain flour
  • ground black pepper, to taste

  1. Combine the biscuits, parmesan and butter and press into the base and sides of a 23cm microwave-safe pie dish. Cook bacon and onion on High for 2 minutes and drain on absorbent paper. Beat cottage cheese and eggs until smooth. Fold through bacon and onion, flour and pepper to taste. Pour into biscuit case and cook on Medium/High power for 10 minutes. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve immediately.
