Pizza Panini

Serves 10


  • 10 small foccacia, Turkish or normal rolls
  • ¾ cup salt reduced tomato paste
  • 10 slices reduced fat ham
  • 1 red or green capsicum, finely sliced
  • 1 x 400g can pineapple pieces in juice, drained
  • 3 cups (400g) Australian grated reduced fat mozzarella cheese
  • 3 teaspoons dried oregano

  1. 1. Split rolls and spread each side with tomato paste then fill with remaining ingredients.
  2. 2. Place panini in pie warmer for 15 minutes until warm and melted, alternatively cook in a sandwich press until toasted .

Tips / Handy Hints

Tip: For more adventurous eaters try adding olives or sliced mushrooms to this Panini. For a Pizza Jaffle, substitute rolls for wholemeal bread and toast in a jaffle maker.
