Pepper Cheddar Butter

Serves 4


  • 125g Australian butter
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 125g Australian cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2-3 drops tabasco sauce
  • freshly ground pepper to taste

  1. Cream butter until smooth. Add remaining ingredients. Beat thoroughly. Spread over grilled steaks, chops, chicken pieces or fish fillets. Heat under grill until bubbling and golden.
