Everybody loves parmesan, but this wonderful cheese is often overlooked for the cheese platter. Serve it up and your guests will be surprised and delighted.
Make a simple balsamic glaze by combining 1 cup balsamic vinegar and 2 tablespoons sugar. Simmer together for 10 minutes, until thick and syrupy and cool before serving with parmesan cheese and pears at your next dinner party!
