Orange Prunes and Muesli

Serves 4


  • 2 oranges
  • 1 cup prunes, pipped
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 1/3 cup muesli
  • 1 cup Australian low fat natural yogurt

  1. Remove the peel and pips from the oranges and slice into 1 cm thick rounds. Cut the slices in half and place into a saucepan with the prunes, orange juice and cinnamon. Cover with a lid and simmer for 5 minutes. Allow to cool, then refrigerate until cold. Spoon into 4 breakfast bowls and top with muesli and yogurt.
