Ingredients

  • 185g Australian butter
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • vanilla essence
  • 1 3/4 cups cornflour *
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 2 1/2 cups rice bubbles or cornflakes

Method

  1. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add vanilla essence. Sift cornflour and cocoa together. Mix into butter mixture, then add the rice bubbles or cornflakes. Place spoonfuls on buttered oven trays. Bake at 190C for 15-20 minutes. Remove onto racks and cool.

Tips / Handy Hints

* Note: Check brands as some cornflour is made from wheat.
