Garlic and Chive Dip with Pita Chips

Serves 3


  • 1 x 80g wholemeal pita bread
  • 200g Australian low fat or skim natural yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Australian light sour cream
  • 1 small clove garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons finely snipped chives

  1. 1. Toast, grill or oven bake the whole pita bread until crisp. Cut or break into serving size pieces.
  2. 2. Combine yogurt, sour cream, garlic and chives to make a dip.
  3. 3. Serve with pita chips.

Tips / Handy Hints

Add 1 tablespoon of skim milk powder to thicken dip and increase the calcium content. As an alternative, serve with carrot sticks, celery and red capsicum.
