Fruity Kebabs with Two Sauces

Serves 6


  • 1 punnet strawberries, rinsed and hulled
  • 2 large bananas, thickly sliced and sprinkled with lemon juice
  • 1 mango, sliced
  • 2 kiwi fruit, peeled and cubed
  • 1 x 440g can unsweetened pineapple pieces, drained
  • 1/2 cup Australian natural yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • pulp of 1 passionfruit
  • 1/2 cup Australian reduced cream
  • 50g choc bits
  • 2 teaspoons liqueur
  • 1 tablespoon flaked almonds

  1. Thread the fruit pieces onto 6 bamboo skewers. Combine the yogurt, honey and passionfruit to form a sauce. Pour the cream into a saucepan and bring to the boil. Remove from the heat, and stir in choc bits and liqueur until smooth. Serve yogurt sauce and chocolate sauce over the fruit kebabs. Sprinkle with almonds.
  2. **This recipe is suitable for lacto-ovo vegetarians who have adopted a vegetarian diet for health reasons.

Tips / Handy Hints

For the chocolate sauce: Heat the cream in a microwave safe dish on High(100%) for 1 minute or until boiling. Stir in the choc bits and liqueur.
