Fruit Clafoutis

Serves 6-8


  • 1 cup canned pie apple
  • 1 cup canned peach pie filling
  • 1 x 825g can fruit salad, drained
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup caster sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/4 cup plain flour
  • 1/3 cup Australian milk powder
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon caster sugar, extra
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

  1. Place fruit in the base of a shallow buttered casserole dish. Whisk together eggs, sugar, vanilla, flour and milk powder until smooth. Bring water to the boil and gradually whisk into the egg mixture. Pour over the fruit and bake at 180C for 20 minutes. Combine the extra sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the top. Bake for a further 10 minutes.
