French Toast

Serves 2 adults & 2 children

Ingredients

  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup Australian milk
  • 10g Australian butter
  • 6 slices thick white bread
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
  • 200g tub Australian fruit yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon sugar

Method

  1. 1. Whisk egg and milk until combined.
  2. 2. Melt butter in a non-stick frypan. Quickly dip bread into egg mixture one slice at a time and panfry on both sides until lightly browned.
  3. 3. Serve topped with banana, strawberries, fruit yogurt and cinnamon sugar.

Tips / Handy Hints

For the kids, cut bread into fun shapes using biscuit cutters, before dipping into egg mixture.
