Custard Creme Chocolate

Serves 6


  • 1 x 600ml carton Australian chocolate custard
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 100g dark chocolate, melted
  • 3/4 cup caster sugar
  • 30g Australia butter
  • 1/2 cup boiling water

  1. Without boiling, gently warm custard, whisk in eggs and pour into oven-proof moulds. Place in a baking dish filled with hot water and bake at 160C for 30 minutes or until set. Refrigerate overnight. Blend melted chocolate with sugar, add butter. Place in a saucepan with boiling water and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Unmould custards onto serving plates and serve with chocolate sauce.
