Creamy Chocolate Baked Custard

  • 1 x 250g jam Swiss roll, sliced
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup caster sugar
  • 1 cup Australian thickened cream
  • 1 1/2 cups Australian milk, heated
  • 100g dark chocolate, grated

  1. Arrange Swiss roll slices on the base of a 20cm round ovenproof dish. Beat together eggs and sugar until smooth and creamy. Add cream, milk and chocolate. Pour mixture over Swiss roll. Place dish in a shallow pan of water and bake at 150C for 1 1/4 hours or until set.

Tips / Handy Hints

Cook on Medium-low (30%) for 10 minutes.
