Cream Chocolate Log

Serves 8-10


  • 600ml Australian thickened cream
  • 500g Australian vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup caster sugar
  • 250g dark chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped roasted hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup chopped raisins

  1. Beat the cream until thickened. Fold the cream with the yogurt and sugar. Blend a little of the yogurt mixture into the chocolate and add the chocolate back to the mixture. Stir in hazelnuts and raisins. Pour into a 5 cup capacity log pan and freeze until firm. Immerse pan up to the rim in hot water for a few seconds and unmould onto serving plate. Serve sliced with fruit compote.
