Chocolate Rum Fondue with Marshmallow Balls

Makes 1 cup Fondue|20 Balls


  • 200g dark chocolate
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 3 tablespoons rum
  • 1/4 cup caster sugar
  • 40g Australian butter
  • 200g Australian creamed cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup dessicated coconut
  • 60g plain marshmallows
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • toasted coconut, for coating

  1. Melt chocolate over hot water, add remaining fondue ingredients and stir until smooth. Transfer to a fondue pot or heatproof dish over a candle burner. Mix cottage cheese and coconut together. Melt marshmallows carefully with water and stir into cheese mixture. Refrigerate until firm. Shape into 20 balls and toss in toasted coconut. Serve fondue with marshmallow balls and chopped fresh or canned fruit.
