Chocolate Fudge Christmas Slice

  • 300g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 395g can Australian sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup roasted hazelnuts
  • 1/4 cup blanched almonds
  • 1/4 cup glace cherries, halved
  • 1/2 cup dried apricots, chopped
  • freshly brewed coffee, for serving

  1. 1. Place chocolate and condensed milk in a large bowl and microwave on HIGH for 2-3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, until melted.
  2. 2.Fold remaining ingredients into chocolate mixture and pour into a baking paper lined 7cm x 25cm bar tin. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into very thin slices and serve with coffee.

Tips / Handy Hints

Alternatively this slice can be pressed into a slice dish and cut into small squares. This slice will keep refrigerated in an airtight container for up to a month.
