Chicken Liver Pate

Serves 6

Ingredients

  • 250g chicken livers
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 large apple, grated
  • 5 cloves
  • 1/3 cup Australian skim milk powder
  • 2 slices bread, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon brandy

Method

  1. Cook livers, lemon juice, apple and cloves in a saucepan for 10 minutes. Place in a blender, puree until smooth. Add remaining ingredients, mix well. Spoon into a pate dish. Refrigerate before serving.
