Cherry Banana Custard Brulee

  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 250g canned pitted black cherries, drained
  • 2/3 cup Australian low fat vanilla custard
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • cinnamon, for sprinkling

  1. Place the banana and cherries in the base of 2 individual ovenproof dishes. Pour over custard and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Grill on a medium heat for 5 minutes or until warmed through and the brown sugar has caramelised.
  2. NOTE: Substitute home made custard or Australian continental-style yogurt for the custard.
