Cheesy Cauliflower

Serves 4


  • 1 tablespoon Australian reduced fat dairy spread
  • 1 tablespoon plain flour
  • 1 cup Australian skim milk
  • 1/4 cup grated Australian 50% reduced fat cheddar cheese
  • 500g cauliflower, steamed until tender
  • 1/4 cup Australian parmesan cheese, finely grated, for serving

  1. 1. Melt dairy spread in a saucepan. Add flour and cook stirring continuously for 1 minute.
    2. Gradually add milk, and thicken over low heat, whisking continuously. Stir in cheddar cheese until melted and pour over cauliflower.
    3. Sprinkle with parmesan and serve.
