Celery Meatballs with Mustard Dip

Ingredients

  • CELERY MEATBALLS
  • 1kg beef mince
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1/2 cup dried breadcrumbs
  • salt and cracked black pepper, to taste
  • MUSTARD DIP
  • 125g Australian cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 3/4 cup Australian natural yogurt
  • 1/4 cup Australian milk

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients for meatballs and divide mixture into 32 portions. Shape each portion into a ball. Place on foil-lined baking tray and bake at 190C for 20 minutes. Serve on tooth-picks with mustard dip (see below).
  2. MUSTARD DIP - Beat cream cheese, sugar and mustard until smooth. Gradually beat in yogurt and milk. Refrigerate until required.
