Caffe Latte Porridge

Serve this coffee flavoured porridge with a dollop of reduced fat vanilla yogurt for added sweetness if desired.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 60ml espresso coffee
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 medium bananas, sliced
  • 8 strawberries, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chopped roasted hazelnuts
  • extra whole milk, for serving (optional)

METHOD

  1. Place oats, milk, coffee and sugar in a small saucepan and cook gently over low heat, stirring occasionally for 8-10 minutes or until porridge is soft and creamy.
  2. Spoon into serving bowls and top with bananas, strawberries and hazelnuts, serve with a drizzle of cold milk.

HANDY TIPS
