Blue Vein and Onion on Rye

Ingredients

  • 125g Australian blue vein cheese
  • 40g Australian butter
  • 1 stalk celery, sliced
  • 2 spring onions, sliced
  • salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • 8 slices rye bread

Method

  1. Beat blue vein cheese and butter together until smooth. Fold in celery, spring onions and seasonings. Spread evenly over bread and place onto a baking tray. Bake at 200C for 15 minutes. Serve whole or cut into fingers.
