Bacon and Egg Baskets

Serves 4


  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 60g Australian butter, melted
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 rasher bacon, chopped
  • 1 small onion, peeled and chopped
  • 4 Australian processed cheddar cheese slices

  1. Cut the tops off the buns and hollow out the inside. Brush with melted butter. Break an egg into the centre and top with bacon, onion and slice of cheese. Replace the lids and bake at 200øC for 30-40 minutes or until egg is cooked.
