Almond Camembert Bites

Ingredients

  • 500g Australian camembert cheese
  • 2 tablespoons plain flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 50g flaked almonds mixed with 1 1/2 cups fresh breadcrumbs
  • Australian butter, for frying
  • cranberry sauce, for serving

Method

  1. 1. Cut camembert into 18 small wedges.
  2. 2. Coat in flour, egg, then breadcrumb mixture. Dip in egg and crumbs again. Chill well.
  3. 3. Fry in butter until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper and serve with cranberry sauce.
