Cheese Please Festival – Terms & Conditions

  1. The Cheese Please Festival (hereafter, “the Event”) is an initiative of Dairy Australia Limited (ACN 105 227 987), an Australian public company limited by guarantee with its registered office at Level 5, IBM Centre, 60 City Road, Southbank, Victoria, 3006.
  2. By submitting an registration for the Event, entrants (hereafter, “You”) are deemed to have accepted and agreed these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”). Applicants who do not comply with these T&Cs, or who do not otherwise satisfy the entry criteria outlined herein shall be ineligible to register for, or attend this Event.
  3. The Event is open to all Australian residents. Entry is free. You must be eighteen (18) years old or more to be eligible to submit an entry.
  4. Tickets are strictly limited. In order to obtain tickets you must visit the Legendairy website at www.legendairy.com.au/cheesepleasefestival and complete the ‘register your interest’ form by inserting your first name, last name and email address.
  5. You may submit Your registration at any time between 09:00 AEST Friday 15 January 2016 and 23:59 Sunday 07 February 2016 (“the Registration Period”). Registration received after this time will not be accepted.
  6. No responsibility is accepted by Dairy Australia for late, lost, incomplete or misdirected entries.
  7. You can only register your details once during the Registration Period.
  8. It is your responsibility to provide accurate contact details.
  9. One hundred and twenty five (125) successful entries will be drawn at random on 08 February 2016 and notified by Dairy Australia via an email sent to the registered email address.
  10. If you are one of the one hundred and twenty five (125) successful entries, you must complete the registration process before you are eligible to attend the Event. To complete the process, you must follow the link in the email you will be sent, and download your two (2) free tickets via the Eventbright ticketing page at https://www.eventbrite.com.au/ You must download your two (2) free tickets before 23:59 Saturday 13 February 2016, if you fail to download your tickets by this date, your offer will no longer be valid and you will not be able to attend the event.  Should there be remaining tickets that have not been claimed by 23:59 Saturday 13 February 2016, a second ballot will be drawn and second round offers will be notified on 23:59 Monday 15 February 2016. These people will have until the Event to download their tickets.
  11. Each successful candidate is entitled to two (2) tickets only.
  12. Tickets must be presented either on paper or smart phone upon entry to The Testing Grounds at the time and date of the event.
  13. The Event will take place on 19 February 2016 from 17:00 until 21:00AEST.
  14. Dairy Australia is bound by the 13 Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) contained in the Commonwealth Privacy Act 1988 (as amended by the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 and the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act (2012)) (collectively, “the Legislation”). Under the Legislation Dairy Australia has obligations to keep secure any personal information it collects, which it takes seriously. Dairy Australia will use personal information it collects from you for the purpose of facilitating the Cheese Please Festival program and for such other secondary purposes that are related to the primary purpose which you might reasonably expect. Dairy Australia may disclose your personal information to authorities if you are a Cheese Please Festival ticket winner, or otherwise as required by law. Further information about how Dairy Australia handles personal information and how you can access your personal information can be found in our Privacy Policy at http://www.dairyaustralia.com.au/Standard-Items/Privacy. Dairy Australia will not sell, rent or loan our contact lists to third parties. In addition, any emails that you receive from Dairy Australia will include an option to unsubscribe.
  15. Dairy Australia reserves the right to offer promotional tickets to additional participants who have not complied with the registration process outlined in these T&Cs.

Cheese Please Festival – Conditions of Entry

  1. Beverages: A selection of wines, beer, spirits and soft drink will be on sale in the venue. Proof of age photo ID will be required to purchase alcoholic beverages.
  2. Food: A selection of hot and cold food will be on sale in the venue.
  3. Items not permitted in the venue: Illicit substances, Animals (except registered assistance animals), Dangerous or inappropriate goods (e.g. weapons, fireworks)
  4. Security: It is a condition of entry that searches take place prior to a patron entering the venue. Prohibited items that are found during a search, or at any time during the event, will be confiscated. Dairy Australia accepts no responsibility for confiscated items.
  5. Dairy Australia reserves the right to refuse or revoke entry for any behaviour or activity that is illegal, poses a safety risk or impacts upon other patrons’ ability to enjoy the event.
  6. These conditions of entry are subject to change without notice.
