What is World Milk Day?
World Milk Day, established in 2001 by the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations is a day to recognise and celebrate the importance of milk as a global food and the hard-working dairy farmers that produce it.
We’re asking you and all other dairy loving Australians to show your support for the simple, nutritious and natural product that is milk by posting a photo on social media (Instagram & Facebook) of what you’re pouring milk over for World Milk Day.
You could share a pour of milk into your morning latte, post-workout smoothie or over your morning muesli. Pair these with the hashtags #WorldMilkDay and #MilkPour on Friday June 1st.
