New, so called ‘milks’ are everywhere these days . . .  almond milk, soy milk, oat milk, rice milk, hemp milk, cashew milk. How about just milk milk?

We like to keep it simple and you just can’t beat dairy milk.  Check out the ingredients list; milk! Just milk. That’s it!  You can’t get much more simple than that!

Dairy milk has been drunk for thousands of years and there are thousands of research papers showing its positive effects on health. It’s amazing what milk can do!

Debs likes full cream milk – but, there’s a dairy milk to suit everyone and despite what you might think, it’s not high in fat – even full cream milk is under 4% fat.

Put another way, it’s 96% fat free!

Reduced-fat and low-fat milk is usually 1-2% fat and skim milk is even lower with almost zero fat. Whichever you choose, all milks have the same good stuff in them.  You know, essential vitamins, minerals and protein.

Here’s some things to keep in mind when you’re comparing good old dairy milk to some of the newfangled, trendy substitutes:

  • It has high quality protein with all essential amino acids, unlike vegetable protein sources
  • Calcium is absorbed better from dairy milk than alternatives 
Milk naturally contains a unique package of essential nutrients which are pretty hard to replicate in a factory.
