The 2016 Awards
At a secret pop up garden overlooking Melbourne’s skyline, we spent a fabulous evening celebrating our Champions, led by guest cheese judge Alice Zavelsky of ‘Alice in Frames’. With a group of Melbourne’s best food media, bloggers and cheese retailers, we made the taste journey together from award winning milk to the ooziest brie, meeting the makers of truly the very best dairy products across the county amongst the green patches and winding vines of the Pop up Patch by Tommy Collins. From tasting innovative ways to serve milk by Chef Jake Kellie, participating in cheese and beverage tastings and having a total sugar rush at our self-serve dessert bar, to capping off the night with a cheese toastie celebrating our Grand Champion from Anthony Femia of Maker and Monger, we enjoyed every minute of it!
What a privilege it was to be in the room with so many amazing champions, once again on behalf of Dairy Australia, congratulations to all of our Finalists, Champions and Grand Champions!
